The hilarious film Circumcise Me: The Comedy of Yisrael Campbell is making its World Television Premiere on The Jewish Channel this month. Orthodox-convert comedian Yisrael Campbell shares his stand-up routine and the wild life story that inspired it.

We previewed this film for the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival and my wife and I laughed until tears streamed down our faces. Not only was Yisrael absolutely hysterical (We’d love to see his show if he ever performed in Atlanta), but his life story was extremely interesting and very, very well told interspersed among his humor. We were so sorry the film was not twice as long as it is. Maybe if he lives another 40 years, he can make “Circumcise Me 2.” Or would that be “Circumcise Me 4″????????????? This is a film that we’ll fight to have included in our festival.
